Fellows of ACTS (FACTS) is a premier membership program for individuals who have made substantial contributions to and service within the clinical and translational science field. FACTS recognizes those who are an essential part of the clinical and translational community.

Eligibility Criteria

    1. At least 10 years of substantial service in the clinical translational science field.

    2. Membership in good standing in ACTS.

Nomination Materials

Each FACTS nominee is required to submit the following:

• Name, current position, contact information, and institution
• C.V or resume (maximum of 4 pages)
• Headshot image

Further information regarding the FACTS nominee scoring criteria can be found here. Additionally, each nominee must have two nominators (primary and secondary) who will receive a form requesting the following:

• A narrative (300-word limit) describing the nominee’s contributions and time spent working in the field of clinical and translational science.
• A narrative (300-word limit) on the nominee's contributions to ACTS as a society.

Nominator Guidelines

• Each nominee is required to have two nominators (primary and secondary).
• An individual can only be a primary nominator for one nominee each application period. Nominators can act as a secondary nominator for multiple nominees each application period. This is an effort to not over burden any one nominator.
• Both nominators’ full name and email must be provided in the application. Upon doing so the nominators will be sent an additional form to complete on your behalf.
•  Both nominators must complete their forms by the application deadline (November 10, 2025) for the nominee’s application to be considered. Nominations without two completed nominator forms will not be considered.
• It is the nominee’s responsibility to ensure that both nominators complete their nomination by the provided deadline.
• The nominators will be able to view the nominee’s application. 

The FACTS nomination portal opens on October 1, 2025. All elements of the nominee’s application (including both the initial application and the nominator narratives) are due by November 10, 2025 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time). 

Over the fall, each nominee's application will be received and considered by multiple FACTS reviewers. The inaugural cohort of fellows will be recognized at an induction celebration at Translational Science 2026 in Milwaukee, WI from April 20-23, 2026.
