There is growing appreciation of the need to firmly establish the cultural identity of clinical and translational science as a multidisciplinary team effort with the highest aspirations. There is also recognition of the importance of encouraging junior investigators to choose a career in clinical and translational science and assuring them outstanding training and support. Thus, the Society for Clinical and Translational Science (SCTS) can uniquely provide an outstanding platform for enhancing education, research, and public policy related to clinical and translational science. As such, the SCTS anticipates rapid growth in its membership, including members from government, industry, and philanthropy. SCTS is eager to partner with supporters based on the Society’s principles of transparency and its commitment to maintain public trust in the integrity of both SCTS and it supporters. Information on mechanisms to support SCTS can be obtained by contacting info@ctssociety.org.
