Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges

Designed to provide a focused and well-rounded experience, the Translational Science scientific program centers around six (6) topic areas. Session proposals should center around these six topics:

Achieving Educational Attainment

To continually diversify and improve pipelines, educational offerings, and career development to achieve learner-desired outcomes.

Who We Are Impacts How We Engage

To build diversity in research populations, we must increasingly reflect, support, and promote diversity in our workforce and research partnerships.

Translational Team Science

Clinical and translational science requires the development of truly effective teams by engaging people of dramatically different backgrounds.

The Art of Science

Science is an art form – how did you develop your methods, how did the work evolve, and how did the methods impact the results?

The Science of Learning Health Systems

Translational science is needed to optimize the dynamic improvement processes of identifying needs, implementing change, and disseminating results within and between health systems.

The Complexity of Change

Change was complex before COVID. Now that change is permanent, we must transform tools to survive and thrive.
